We asked (OK, begged) Nick Wechsler about the possibility. “I don’t think they will have them get together romantically, and if it happens, it’ll be further into the season,” he says. Ashley Madekwe Leaving ‘Revenge’ After Two Seasons @smashleybell

Ashley Madekwe is departing the hit show Revenge after two seasons on the ABC series, according to Deadline.

The 31-year-old actress’ option was reportedly not picked up due to storyline reasons.

Ashley played the character Ashley Davenport, who was originally the event planner for Victoria Grayson (Madeline Stowe) and eventually moved on to relationships with both Victoria’s husband Conrad (Henry Czerny) and her son Daniel (Josh Bowman). Her storyline had played out by the end of season one, and then she was brought back as Conrad’s assistant in season two and later to do PR for his political campaign. Now that the election has played out, her storyline once again has ended.

The season finale is just around the corner and ABC has released the final stills of the season, and while the fate of Revenge has yet to be determined it’s a safe bet that Emily and the other Hamptonites will be returning to our screens in September. When an official announcement for renewal is made I will be posting that, as with the new Once Upon A Time spin off more than likely making a home on Sunday night’s, we unfortunately may see another time slot change come fall.

In “Truth, Part One” – The second season of “Revenge” culminates in a special two-hour finale event with two back-to-back episodes filled with high octane and life changing moments, SUNDAY, MAY 12 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
